Catch it while it's still in the air
The CleanMyBricks Air runs in the corner of the room and pulls 350 cubic metres of air through a medical grade H13 filter every hour. In a normal display room that is about seven full changes of air, every hour. Airborne particles end up in the filter instead of on your models.
What changes is not whether you clean. It is how long it takes and how hard you have to work. Less settles between cleans, and what does settle sits loose on the surface instead of being worked into the detail. A pass with a cloth, rather than an evening with a brush.
Three stages, pulled from the top
Air is drawn in through the top of the unit and pulled down through three layers. A nylon pre-filter catches the big stuff first: hair, lint and fibres. The H13 True HEPA traps 99.95% of particles down to 0.3 microns, comfortably below the size that settles on your sets, so what goes into the filter does not come back out. Behind it, activated carbon takes on odours and the stale, shut-up smell a closed display room can get.
See the air at a glance
A light glows inside the handle and changes colour with the air in the room. Green means clean. Amber and red tell you when it is working harder. No app to open, you just look across the room.
Quiet enough that you'll leave it on
A purifier you can hear is a purifier you will switch off, and a switched off purifier does nothing at all. On sleep mode the CleanMyBricks Air runs at 35 decibels, quieter than the room it sits in, and dims its display so it holds the air overnight without keeping you up. Three fan speeds, a sleep mode, and an auto mode that reads the air and sets its own pace. Run the timer in bursts after a build session, or leave it on low all day.
A scent for the room, if you want one
A pull-out aroma tray sits in the side. Add five or six drops of essential oil to the pad and the whole display room carries a scent you choose. Oil goes in the aroma tray only, never into any other opening.
Where to put it
Floor level, near the shelving, with about a foot of clearance around it. Dust settles downward, so a unit at floor height beside your display intercepts more of it than one across the room on a desk.

Filters
Replace roughly every 6 to 8 months depending on how much the room is used. Replacement filters are available, so the unit does not become landfill when the first one fills up.
